The name really fits! This place really is heaven on earth. The property is beautiful with flowers everywhere! There were amazingly sweet animals that just loved attention! There was everything that we needed and more for a peaceful stay. It was a little chilly to be able to use the pool for me, but the jacuzzi tub was perfect after a long day of driving. The bed was one of the comfiest beds we've ever stayed in at any hotel or air B&B. The rustic farmhouse was so comfy and cozy, and we loved the charm of the original wood flooring! We really felt like we were at a home away from home! We didn't want to leave! Our hostess Kathleen was absolutely amazing! She was so inviting! It was as if we were staying with family. She told us about her dreams for My Vahalla, and we didn't think it could get any better. My Vahalla was amazing as it is. Anything else is just decoration on the cake! Kathleen has done such a good job with everything! She was amazing, and My Vahalla was amazing! 10 out of 10 stars! Absolutely do recommend to everyone and anyone!
The property we rented was as advertised - 3 bedrooms and a 10-minute drive from Colby College, where we attended our college reunion. The house was older but had modern appliances, 2 bathrooms, a washer and dryer. The home is on a farm with horses and a mule on the premises, which we enjoyed. The owner lives in an addition attached to the home. She was most engaging and attentive to our questions and needs. The only drawback for senior citizens like us is that the stairs going up to the 2nd-floor bedrooms are steep, making it somewhat difficult to carry our luggage upstairs. Overall, a very positive experience for us.

This was probably our favorite rental so far. We rented the whole house for the week and found it very spacious and comfortable for our friends and family to visit us (we are from Maine but moved away). Kathleen was super friendly and helpful with anything we needed, and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to interact with the animals (donkeys, mule, horse and cats). Ample parking was a big win for us, and the location is convenient. Don't miss The Ice Cream Shoppe just 8 minutes away! The pool, outdoor seating and grill made this a real summer retreat 😁I can't think of anything we'd improve.
Hostess was very polite and welcoming. Loved the character of the farm house and the animals on the property. Very comfortable sleeping, well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Loved the wood stove in the living room.
Amazing property and host. We can’t say enough great things about our stay at Valhalla Farm. The house was cozy and warm. Kathleen was an amazing host as well, making sure we always had everything we needed (including loaning us an ice scraper for our rental car!).
Enjoyed a 2 night stay at this quiet country retreat. Our host was friendly and took time to visit. The kitchen was well stocked and it's a charming historic structure, equipped with modern conveniences. What more could you want!
The farmhouse was clean and charming. The kitchen was well-stocked. Kathleen was an excellent communicator. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable— including making a bonfire for smores! We loved getting to be with her sweet kitties and amazing donkeys, mule, and horse.
What an awesome farm! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Kathleen is awesome. It was a 10- minute drive to Colby College- our destination for a football game! Our team won so that was really fun!! The house is very clean and very comfortable! Kathleen has thought of everything and she is delightful!
